It began in 1990, in a small village in the Churu district of Rajasthan, where dreams were bigger than circumstances and hard work was the only path forward.
With hope in his heart and responsibilities on his shoulders, Om Prakash Saini moved to Jaipur in search of a better future. Like thousands of people who leave their hometowns chasing opportunities, he started from the very beginning — learning, observing, and working tirelessly every single day.
His journey in the carpet industry started as a Stock Handler and Production Manager in a carpet company. But for him, this was never just a job. It became a passion.
Over the next 10 years, he immersed himself in the world of handmade carpets and rugs — understanding every thread, every weave, every texture, and every detail that transforms a simple rug into a piece of art. What began as work slowly turned into craftsmanship, and craftsmanship turned into vision.
In the year 2000, that vision took shape as Shubham Carpets — a company built on honesty, dedication, and a deep respect for Indian artistry. As the journey evolved, so did the brand, eventually becoming Knotiva Rugs — a name that reflects timeless design, fine craftsmanship, and modern luxury rooted in heritage.
